Compendium of Curiosities 2 Challenge: Technique 1 - Custom Foam Stamp

Happy Sunday to you all.

It's time for the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge over at Studio L3.  This week's challenge is to create a custom foam stamp.

Here is my version:
The background was coloured using pumice stone distress stain.  The script stamp from Tim Holtz Papillion set was stamped using vintage photo.  The custom stamp is from the Tim Holtz 'Sewing Room' sizzix die.  It was cut in foam and mounted to give a better impression.  The image was then stamped using walnut stain ink.  I finished my tag by adding some washi tape to create a belt on the dress form. A ruler was added, along with a metal tassel from my stash.  I added a few embellishments to finish.

Hope you like my version of Tim's technique.

Don't forget to pop over to Linda's place to see what the challenge is about.  Even better, it is sponsored by Simon Says Stamp who have gift certificate to give away to one lucky entry!

Thanks for looking.
