I started by covering a canvas board using Caribbean Sea and Captain Peacock Fresco Finish paints.
Next, I experimented with Infusions to see how they mixed with Grunge Paste - and what a happy experiment it was...
The infusions brought only a small amount of the walnut out and kept the gorgeous jaded colour. I then used this through a PaperArtsy stencil.
I simply love the distressed look of the Infusions - awesome!
The main image was stamped in Archival ink then, once heat set, washed in watered down Caribbean Sea and French Roast.
I then mounted into onto a may that had been coloured and the stamped using Chalk Fresco Finish paint.
To finish I used metal embellishments from my stash.
I really enjoyed this project! And the fact that it made me challenge myself.
Pop over to the PaperArtsy Blog and see the other fabulous projects that have been created this fortnight. There is still time to join in with the challenge too.
I hope you have enjoyed my post tonight. I really appreciate the views and comments.
Thanks for looking.....
