Anything Goes pt. 2 - Country View Crafts Challenges

Hi again.....  Today I am sharing my second project for January over at Country View Challenges.  The theme this month is 'anything goes' which is quite refreshing after seasonal crafting.

Here is my second project.....

I started by brayering Mermaid, Slate and a smidge of Baltic Blue Fresco Finish Chalk Paints onto a card stock panel.

Next, I randomly stamped background images from Visible Images 'Somewhere in Time' stamp set using Archival Ink.

I die cut the Weathered Clock and sponged it using Baltic Blue Fresco Finish Chalk paint.  I then added smidges of Classic Treasure Gold around the edges.

The Steampunk Man from Visible Images 'Ahead of our Time' stamp set was stamped in the corner of the panel using Jet Black Archival ink.  This ink was by far the best ink to use for such a large and solid image.  The weathered clock was then added over the image.

The word 'Time' and coordinating quote was stamped in the left corner.

To finish, I distressed the edges of the card stock and added Classic Treasure Gold.  This was then added to a blank panel and mounted to a card blank.

I think I am starting to shake off the 'seasonal' craft and enjoy other projects!

I hope that I have inspired you to join in with this months project.  Pop over to the blog to see mine and other inspiration for the month.

Thanks for joining me.
