Country View Crafts Challenges - Things With WIngs

I hope you all had a lovely Easter and are enjoying this month's challenge.  Here is my second project for the Things With Wings challenge:

I wanted to use the amazing second release of blending inks from Lisa Horton Crafts for this project - I got carried away creating backgrounds and even ended up making 2 cards. The second release of inks are so beautiful and have a vintage feel.

Here is a list of the products that I used to create my two projects:

Lisa Horton Crafts Premium Dye Based Matt Blending Ink

Tim Holtz Halftone Stencil

Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Botanical Collage Stamp Set

Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Noteworthy Stamp Set

Tim Holtz Ideology

I was having so much fun creating this card that I created another with a slight change:

This time I used torn note paper down the side of the card.  Like in the first card, I layered up the butterfly to add dimension.

I loved using the new Lisa Horton inks - perfect for my project!

Do pop over to the blog to see the inspiration from the rest of the design team.  There is a lot of inspiration for you.  There is also still time to join in with the challenge for this month.

Thanks for joining me.

Country View Crafts Challenges - Things With Wings

Happy April!  Rachel has chosen the challenge of Things with Wings this month.  As I adore butterflies it was an easy theme to choose.  And boy did I have fun playing.

Here is my first project:

I haven't used alcohol inks for a long time and so had a great time playing and creating lots of backgrounds that I can use for other projects.

I used the following products to create this card:

Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Yupo paper
Tim Holtz Alcohol ink Air Blower
Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks
Tim Holtz Ideology
Metal bits and bobs from my stash
Aall and Create Tracy Evans #729 Spread your Wings Stamp set

I really enjoyed creating this project.  It was so fun to create lots of backgrounds using alcohol inks.  Each one completely different to the other.

Do pop over to the Challenge blog to see the amazing inspiration from the rest of the design team.  And while you are there, why not join in with the challenge - you never know, you may be the lucky winner for April!

Thanks for joining me today.
