Christmas - Tim Holtz Style!

Good evening.

I planned a wonderful inky weekend after a very busy week.  What happened?  I ended up with a migraine all day Saturday and most of today!  Still, as soon as it started to ease, out came the inks!  I've been bursting to try the new Tim Holtz Christmas Blueprint stamps.

I managed to make 20 cards - 5 for each blueprint stamp.  Each card differs slightly but here are a few examples:

For each card, I stamped the main image in jet black Archival ink. I then used Distress
ink to colour the images with a water brush. I LOVE colouring images this way!
The papers are a mix of Basic Grey and some Vintage Christmas Papers
that I have had in my stash forever!!

(apologies for the mis-alignment of this pic - no matter what I tried it would not play!!)
I used a scallop border to add a paper trim and pearls and rhinestones to add a bit of bling!

I am really happy with how these have turned out.  I just love this stamp set! I'm sure the recipients will like them too!!  Anyway, that's another 20 down, only another 100 to go!!!!

Thanks for looking

  1. 20 cards! Wow, Miriam, that is some achievement and the four you have shown are just beautiful. This is my favourite stamp set this year (still not sure about the tree) but I haven't made nearly as many as you yet..... Hope the migraine keeps away. Crafty hugs, Anne x
