Hemo Decor Tiles

I am sharing a piece of home decor that I have created over on the PaperArtsy blog this evening.

I created my project using a tole holder purchased form That Craft Place.  This is a great holder that I can use to display 3 tiles, and when I want to freshen them up I simply pop the tiles out and change them over.

Pop over to the PaperArtsy blog to see how I created this project and to see more up close pictures.

I hope you like my finished project, destined for the newly decorated spare room.  Thank you for joining me this evening.

Country View Crafts Challenges - It's A Bug's Life

I hope you are all enjoying the wonderful inspiration from the team so far this month.  There is so much more to come.

Here is my second project for the month

I decided to alter some artist trading coins for this one.

I started by triple embossing Ancient Amber Baked Texture.  How fab does this look?!

On the last emboss I pressed the bug stamps into the hot melted powder.  I so love the impressions they left.

I then inked around the edges and added a Tim Holtz quote.

To finish, I embossed and painted the back of the coins.

Thank you for joining me again today.  Make sure you pop over to the Challenge blog to see the inspiration this month.  And do join in - apart from it enabling us to see your amazing projects you may be in with a chance of winning a gift voucher to spend in the online store!

Happy crafting!

Country View Crafts Challenges - It's A Bug's Life

Welcome to June.  We are almost half way through the year already!

This month Jane has chosen 'It's a Bug's Life' as the theme over at Country View Crafts Challenges.  Now this theme threw me at first as I don't often use 'bugs' in my craft, however, the ideas started to flow.

Here is my first project for the month

I started my project using a very simple stencilled background that I used spray inks through.

The flowers and ladybirds were various ones from the JOFY collection at PaperArtsy.  These were stamped and coloured then cut out.

I thought the ladybirds were very cute!

A very simple, but colourful card.  Perfect for the start of the warmer months - let's hope we have a good summer!

Thank you for joining me today.  Make sure you pop over to the Country View Crafts Challenge blog where you can see the inspiration from the other design team members.  And don't forget to join the challenge - you may be the lucky winner of a gift voucher that can be spent in the online shop!

Thanks for looking... Happy crafting!
