Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!!!

It's Christmas card time again....

I have been cracking on with my mammoth volume that I need to create.

Here is the card that I would like to share with you today:

I loved making these cards!

Firstly, I stamped snowflakes randomly to the right hand side of the card.

I added some Stampin' Up Christmas paper to the left.

I did cut 2 art deco frames, firstly in grey, then in soft sky.

I stamped the snowman in the same colour and stamped arms, buttons and a face in midnight blue.

The greeting was stamped at the bottom of the card.

To finish I added a ribbon and a bell.

I LOVED using this stamp set - in fact - I can't stop!!

Thanks for looking.

It's Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas... Part 2

Me again!!

This time I want to share a card that is very similar to the last card:

Here the methods were the same.... such a cute image here though!! It's from the new Papermania Tilly range.

I added a little felt star on a peg as an additional embellishment on these cards.

Right - that's 20 down...  180 to go!!!
Thanks for looking.

Rebel Stampers ATC Swap

It's that time of month again!! Here are my creations for the August challenge.

This ATC was based on the Craft Stamper free stamp for August.

I started by covering an ATC using spotty background paper.

Following this I embossed a strip of crumb cake card using a honeycomb folder.

The phone was stamped onto pink card and parts highlighted using a melon mambo stampin' write marker.

To finish I stamped a greeting from the Timeless Talk stamp set.

The theme for the second ATC was to use a tag.

I covered an ATC using decorative paper.

Next I die cut and embossed a tag from the Tag it! die set.  I added a portion of doily and card stock to the bottom.

I die cut the mini dress form die onto canvas paper and edged it using tea dye ink.

I added a stamped and punched label to finish.

That's it for now!! Thanks for looking .......

It's Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas... Part 1

Well.....  I have started my Christmas cards.  I thought I would share them with you over the next few weeks.

Today I am sharing a card that was very quick to make:

The card was covered using some scrummy Stampin' Up Christmas papers.

I then die cut an art deco label in red and watercolour paper.  The image was stamped in Archival then coloured with distress markers using a water brush.

I layered seam binding with Christmas ribbon.

I punched a postage stamped and stamped a greeting in real red ink.

Nice and simple - especially seeing as I have over 200 to make (better get a move on!!).

Thanks for looking.....

Rebel Stampers Tag Swap

August was the first month I have managed to complete all year!  I look back over my old tags and have really missed making them!

Here is my creation for August which was based on the theme of Harvest and the end of summer:

I started off by colouring a tag with wild honey distress stain and inked around the edge of the tag in walnut stain distress ink.

Next I stamped the chevron, wood grain (type) stamp in walnut stain distress ink and pumpkin pie ink.  I added a wood grain stamp in various parts of the tag.

I stamped acorns in walnut stain distress and cut them out then layered them onto the tag.

The corn was stamped in pumpkin pie ink then cut out and layered over chocolate chip chevron ribbon and linen thread.

Matching fibres were added to the top of the tag to finish.

I hope you like my creation.

Thanks for looking.

Hearts A Flutter

Last week I was lucky enough to receive the fabulous new Darcy UK stamps from Paper Artsy.  If you haven't seen them yet you can check them out Here

I was looking forward to using them all week, and on Saturday I had a craft day with Di and Laura - perfect excuse!!

We managed to decorate a box, create a charm bracelet and make 2 calendars - all in a days work!
Here are our creations:

Di

Laura

Mine
For my calendar I used an old DVD that came free with a newspaper.  I covered this with a sheet of yummy Kraft paper.

I then stamped the fabulous Darcy-UK images and coloured them with Fresco Finish paints.

Easy Peasy!

I painted the box using a sand coloured paint.

I stamped a crackle stamp using Coffee Archival ink and dried this with a heat tool.

I used a honeycomb stencil and spread some grunge paste coloured with pomegranate paint through the stencil.  Again I dried this thoroughly.

I added some washi tape and pearl swirls.

Next I stamped the key from the stamp set and painted it using Fresco Finish paint.

I stamped the hearts onto metal card using black Archival ink.  I dried them with a heat gun.  Next I started to emboss the images and give them some definition.  When I was happy with them I attached them to the box using a string glue.

Hope you like our creations.
