Crafting For Lisa Horton Crafts Part 2

I'm back to share the other projects that I made for Lisa's latest launch.

The stamp holders are fabulous.  Such a good size.

I used the fabulous Playing Card stencil.  This is an awesome stencil.

I used Weathered Wood to create my crackle effect - I was delighted with the crackle!

This has a more masculine feel.

This time I used the Crackle stencil - which also comes with an amazing mask part too.

I decorated the stamp box using some of the grey board cogs from That Craft Place.

My final projects are using the round storage pots.

For some reason I didn't take any other photos of this one.

I used the Heart Flurry stencil, the butterfly dies, pearls and the wonderful Mermaid Tails.

I used Weathered Wood on this pot to create that fabulous crackle.

I used the Cogs stencil to add additional design around my pot.

My handle was creates by layering up some of the greyboard cogs.

As you can tell, I have had so much fun creating projects for this release.  They really were fabulous to create with!

If you missed out from buying them from the Create and Craft show you can buy them from That Craft Place from 8 April.

Thanks for joining me today.

Happy Crafting and stay safe!

Crafting for Lisa Horton Crafts Part 1

Hi there,

I hope that you are all keeping well and safe.

I thought I would share some of the projects that I have made for Lisa Horton Crafts.   Lisa released her latest products on Create and Craft earlier this week - and wow!  Fabulous release.  Here are some of the projects I created using the trio of mini boxes.

Some of you will know that I adore Alice in Wonderland.  So I took the opportunity to use the amazing Stamperia Alice papers to alter a box.

Sshhh this might have a sneak peek on it!

These papers are so beautiful and the boxes such good quality and a wonderful size.

I used a second box to create a storage box.

This time I created a lid for the box, again using those wonderful papers.  I also used Sisal on the lid.

It was hard to decide which side of the double sided paper to use!

I thought the box could be a gift with chocolate - who doesn't love chocolate!

I also ensured that the inside was decorated too.

For my final box, I stepped away from Alice!

I added textire paste through the Maze stencil before I painted the box.

I also gliued numbers and the number tags onto the box.

I loved how they looked like tarnished metal.

I added the key to the bottom panel as if it had to be wound up!

These boxes were so much fun.

If you missed them on Create and Craft you will be able to buy them from That Craft Place from 8 April.  But be quick - they won't hang around for long!

Thanks for joining me... part 2 will be launched over the next few days!

PaperArsty Jungle Vibes - My Jungle Adventure

Good evening,

This evening I am over on the PaperArtsy blog sharing my project for the awesome 'Jungle Vibes' theme.

Here is my finished project

I created a brayered background and then stamped the fern from ESN37.

I added stamping to add extra texture and detail to the background.

The slide mounts started as a cut off part of the brayered background.  I then die cut and stamped the slides.

I used vellum for the images to give a more aged look to my project.

The giraffe was stamped and painted before being cut out and mounted onto my project.

The beetles were stamped onto a black panel where I then mounted the panel and slides.

I was really happy with how this project turned out and am pleased that I was able to channel my jungle vibes!

Pop over to the PaperArtsy blog to see more detail on my project.

Thanks for joining me.

Country View Crafts Challenge - The Eyes Have It

Hope you are all enjoying the inspiration this month.  Here is my second project for the challenge.

I started off by creating a shaving foam background.

This was solely to add a bit of pattern and texture to my stamped panel.

I then stamped the Visible Image stamp and coloured small sections in using coloured pencils.

I also added small amounts of Grunge Paste through a stencil to add more texture.

The image was mounted onto black card and then mounted onto a patterned paper panel.

So there we have it.  I was really happy with this.  I love the look of the extra texture.

Do make sure you are popping over to the Country View Crafts Challenge blog to see the amazing inspiration this month.  And don't forget, if you join in with the challenge you will be in the hat for the draw - there is a gift voucher to spend in the store up for grabs!

Thank you for joining me.

Happy crafting!

Country View Crafts Challenges - The Eyes Have It

Happy March - I frankly have no idea where February went!

Today is a new challenge over at Country View Crafts.  The theme for this month is 'The Eyes Have It'.

Here is my first project for the challenge

My card centred around the Tim Holtz Snarky Cat stamp set.  I simply adore this set.  It reminds me so much of my cat, Sid.  Each cat stamp has a character, and this quote was simply perfect.

I kept the design simple, Cutting stitched rectangles out of Tim Holtz design paper and black card stock.

Pop over to Country View Crafts Challenges  to see what the design team have created this month.  And don't forget, if you enter the challenge you could be in with a chance of winning a voucher to spend in the online store!

Happy crafting!
