PaperArtsy: Stamp Mashing - Art Panel

This evening I am sharing my first project of the year for PaperArtsy.  The theme is Stamp Mashing which meant I could let loose my creativity and have a really fun creative play time.

Pop over to the PaperArtsy blog to see how I created this panel.

Thanks for joining me this evening.

Country View Crafts Challenges - Squares

Happy New Year to you all.

Today marks the start of a New Year and the first 2021 challenge over at Country View Crafts Challenges.

Here is my first project for the 'squares' theme:

My background was created using loads of layered  squares.  I added random stamping using a Janet Klein stamp set.

My main image is the wonderful Sewing Forever set from Tracy Evans for Aall and Create.  I really love this collaged image.

This was a really fun card to create.  It was interesting to layer so many squares together.

Do pop over to the Challenge blog to see the inspiration from the rest of the team.  I really encourage you to join in with the challenge. Don't forget, you may be the lucky winner of a gift voucher to spend in the online store.

Thanks for joining me.

Country View Crafts Challenges - Christmas - Anything Goes

Eek - not long to go until the big day - not many sleeps left!

Here is my second project for the December challenge:

The papers were from a Christmas release.  I filled my shaker dome with mica - I thought it was softer than fake snow or sequins.  I die cut pine leaves from a Tim Holtz Sizzix set and used an Ideology metal token.

I really enjoyed how this card turned out.

Do pop over to the blog to see the inspiration and to join in with the challenge - you never know, you might be the successful winner.

Thanks for joining me today.

And if this is your last visit to my blog before the Festive Season I wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas.

Country View Crafts Challenges - Anything Goes

 Happy December.

Today's challenge is the last of the year over at Country View Crafts.  Being the festive season the theme is Christmas - anything goes.

Here is my first project

I wanted to create a very simple make to show that handmade doesn't always mean that a project has to take a long time to create.

I always make my own tags for presents but do not have much time at the moment, and so these are perfect.

I die cut tags from Kraft card stock.  I stamped the snowman and sentiment from Seasonal Scribbles. The images were roughly coloured using pencils.

I finished the tags with twine.

So there you have it - easy peasy!

Pop over to the Challenge blog and join in with this month's challenge.  Don't forget that all entrants will be in the draw to win a voucher to spend in the online shop.

Look forward to seeing your festive projects.

Thanks for joining me.

Country View Crafts Challenges - Anything but a card

Happy middle of November.

Here is my second project of the month

I decided to create an art panel to add to my wall in my craft room.

I added Grunge Paste through a JOFY PaperArtsy stencil.

Once dry, I sprinkled some PaperArtsy infusions and reacted with water.  I adore the effects that the infusions create.

I created a skin using a Stamperia mould and cream paste.  Once fully dry I added a few torn strips to my panel.

The frame is a Sizzix Tim Holtz Ornate die which I cut in mount board.  Once added to the panel I then set about with the decoration.

I used Stamperia cotton net to add to the textures.

I then collaged different elements from my stash, including Ideology

I literally lost myself in creativity for an afternoon and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I hope that I have inspired you to join in with this month's challenge.  Pop over to the Challenge blog to see how to join in.  Don't forget, you may be in with a chance to win a gift voucher to spend in the online shop.

Thanks for joining me.
Happy crafting!
