It's been a long time since I had time to play with my mini journal - so I stole a few moments and created a mini page.
For this page, I used the mew Moth and Enigma Andy Skinner stamps.
I also took the opportunity to use up some of my old Tim Holtz remnant rubs.
The background is Buff Fresco acrylic paint and infusions.
I was really happy with my short play time.... It's always fin to create in my mini journal.
Thanks for joining me today.

Country View Crafts Challenges - Texture
Today I am sharing my second post for the texture challenge.
I decided to use the new PaperArtsy Sara Naumann stamps for this project.
I added Grunge Paste in random places and let this dry thoroughly. I then painted the panel in Koala Fresco acrylic paint. Next, I randomly stamped one of the collage stamps using Watering Can Archival ink.
I added Lava Paste through a Sara Naumann stencil and then started to heat it.
I love the effect of the dried Lava Paste - it's just amazing!
The image and quote were stamped using Midnight Fresco acrylic paint.
I love the colour combination and texture I've used.
I think this panel will definitely be added to my art wall in my new craft room!
Thanks for joining me today.
I hope that I have inspired you to join in with the challenge, Don't forget, you could be in with a chance of winning a gift voucher to spend in the online shop.
Happy Crafting!

Country View Crafts Challenges - Texture
This month it's my turn to choose the topic - and the choice was easy - Texture!
I love texture. I love when a project looks tactile and you want to touch it. I love looking at the different elements.
Here is my first project this month:
I stamped the Mechanical Heart onto metal, heat set it, before cutting out and adding it to the panel.
I love the different textures created on this panel. It certainly has a lot of texture!
Thanks for joining me today. Do pop over to the challenge blog. I would love to see you join in with this challenge. Don't forget, you might be in with a chance of winning a gift voucher to spend on the Country View Crafts website.

Here is my first project this month:
I started by adding newspaper strips to a grey board panel.
I then brushed Buff, Terracotta and Mahogany onto the dried panel.
I used a spatula to add a layer of Lava Paste. Before drying this I added a layer of Andy Skinner 'Satin Sunset' embossing powder. Once heated, I thought this actually looked like reptile skin! I love this effect.
I love the different textures created on this panel. It certainly has a lot of texture!
